The freedom fighter

The day is dawning,
another battle is won.
Tears like innocent victims
are slowly disappearing
in the warmth of the sun.
Brave and ready
with scars of the scene,
a freedom fighter
is heading for the place
fate is last seen.
With fear on one shoulder
and faith on the other,
two worlds collide,
two warriors
must face one another.
And all the gods fight with them
in the heavens above.
Tears, they fall forever
for this time they know
the prize is love.
